GE MAC 5500HD EKG Machine

The GE MAC 5500HD EKG Machine is GE’s premier flagship EKG machine. It is made for high volume cardiology offices, medical centers, and hospitals. The 5500HD utilizes advanced diagnostic tools such as ACS analysis, ACI-TIPI, and P-Wave signal averaging. ACS analysis displays additional diagnostic information for the referring physician to determine if ACS may be present in the patient. ACI-TIPI is acute cardiac ischemia time-insensitive predictive instrument which analyzes a patient’s age, gender, and chief complaint in addition to ECG measurements to provide a numerical score or risk factor in determining ACI-TIPI. P-Wave signal averaging is an option that utilizes an algorithm to enhance the p-wave for further assessment and accuracy. The GE MAC 5500 also utilizes GE’s most advanced acquisition module: The CAM 14HD. The CAM 14HD helps reduce noise and artifact for crystal-clear ECG tracings. The MAC 5500HD also allows for full connectivity to GE MUSE cardiology information system or Cardiosoft using optional Ethernet and/or MobileLink wireless capabilities. These two options allow for bi-directional communication with MUSE or other types of EMR. All MAC 5500HD systems include 12SL interpretation as well as hookup advisor. The MAC 5500HD always ships patient ready which means all accessories are included with the purchase.
