This system substitutes a gauge's exposed mechanical program with a nearly imperishable digital electric circuit. The system requires the usage of a stethoscope for the traditional ausciltatory method, replacing the analog or mercury gauge with a digital unit featuring a clearly lit LCD display screen in a splash and shock-resistant housing.
