It can automatically transmit time-stamped data when the patient returns into range. The Nonin Onyx II 9560 provides storage for a minimum of 20 single-point measurements. It also has SmartPoint Technology that provides fast and accurate snapshots of patients' SpO2 and pulse rate and eliminates the guesswork of determining which oximetry values are used for analysis. With SmartPoint Technology, it determines when high-quality measurements are ready to be transmitted and each measurement includes an indicator of quality. The Nonin Onyx II 9560 also provides an extended range of up to 100 meters for added mobility. The Nonin Onyx II 9560 is highly durable and ideally used for a home care environment. It is rugged and requires no wires or cables. It has an automatic on/off and is easy to use. The Nonin Onyx II 9560 also comes with a power-saving feature that can be adjusted to transmit based on power usage. This unique feature can allow for approximately 600 spot checks on 2 AAA alkaline batteries.
