The Nonin 9840 Series Handheld CO2 and Pulse Oximetry Monitor was designed to provide you fast and first breath readings with proven accuracy and durability. It combines pulse oximetry technology with reliable CO2 detection making it ideal for spot-checking and continuous monitoring in a wide variety of clinical environments such as patient transport and/or emergency use. It allows simultaneous or independent use of SpO2 and Co3 detection and verifies endotracheal tube placement throughout the intubation period and provides accurate blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate values. With its small size and easy-to-handle features, it can hold up in the most demanding environments. Its new feature “First Breath” makes the machine low maintenance, taking away the need for warmups, and requiring no calibration. It has a long battery life with up to 90 hours of continuous SpO2 and 20 hours of simultaneous SpO2 and CO2. The Oximeter utilizes Semi-quantitative technology through mainstream sampling. It has PureSAT Spo2 artifact-free technology. And memory for up to 24 hours of data storage. It optionally has a non-alarm or audible alarm version, Nvision data management software, and serial/USB adapters for data transfer to a computer. Other accessories options for the Nonin 9840 Series Handheld CO2 and Pulse Oximetry Monitor are a custom carrying case, rubber bumper (for added protection), mounting bracket, sensors, and extension cables, and a PC interface cable.
